The Epson SC-P8500D has been designed for high print volume poster production and copy shops offering large format photo printing also as self-service. The 6-colour UltraChrome Pro6 ink set offers matte and photo black as well as a new grey ink for smooth gradations and reduced graininess.

Further features include dual roll operation, a built-in take-up reel for roll-to-roll printing, easy automatic roll loading plus optional adjustable production stackers. What’s more, the new SureColor P-series line is claimed to be up to 2.3x faster than the prior SureColor P8000.

The 2.64-inch PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead of the Epson SC-P8500D prints up to 18m²/hr in photo quality. The dual-roll features auto-switching between two different media types or sizes. Also, the automatic take-up reel enables high productivity roll-to-roll printing and the new drop-in auto paper loading system makes it easy for inexperienced users to handle media, including cut sheet and posterboard. Wi-Fi for placement is nearly everywhere.
